LONDON: British police have successfully dealt with a security alert which caused the closure of a busy train station in east London on Monday, National Rail said.
Overground and underground trains were not stopping at Stratford while police investigated a suspicious vehicle at the nearby Westfield shopping centre before the incident was dealt with.
Trains are now able to call at Stratford at scheduled, as police have successfully dealt with the incident near the railway at this station However, trains services may still be delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised as services recover. #Stratford https://t.co/RQHxTkmiEn
