LPG prices increased by Rs 46 per kg

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded the summary of increase in Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) prices to the Ministry of Petroleum, while LPG was also increased by Rs 46 per kg – ARY News reports.

According to sources, OGRA recommended to maintain the prices of petrol and high speed diesel, however if the petroleum levy were not reduced then the 85 paisas will be increased in petrol prices, Rs 1.34 in high speed diesel, kerosene oil by Rs 1.18, light diesel by 82 paisas per liter, while the price of HOBC is expected to raise by Rs 5.22 per liter.

On the other hand, OGRA increased the prices of LPG by 46 rupees per kg.

The President of the LPG Association, Irfan Khokhar said that OGRA increased the prices without any prior notice.

He told that the price of a domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 541, while Rs 2082 were increased on a commercial cylinder.
