According to details, the Lyari gangster shot dead a resident of Kalakot area over not giving extortion.
The locals protested against the killing at Shaheen Complex. Exchange of words took place between the law enforcers and protesters which later turned into a brawl.
Rangers had to interfere after the scuffle between the two parties intensified.
The protest ended after the para-military force assured the protesters that the suspects behind the killing will be arrested.
