Uzair Baloch, the chief of defunct People’s Aman Committee in Lyari was arrested from the outskirts of Karachi on January 30.
Sania Naz MPA reached the Rangers headquarters on Friday (today) to answer the questions relevant with the arrested Lyari gang leader.
Baloch during initial investigations revealed to the officials that he had close ties with a number of prominent personalities including former home minister of Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza, Lyari MPA Sania Naz and others.
Zulfiqar Mirza, who had served during the previous PPP stint as provincial home minister, had earlier affirmed his close relations with Uzair Baloch.
Mirza on the Rangers summon visited the headquarters of the paramilitary force in Karachi and recorded his statement pertaining to Uzair Baloch case.
It was revealed by the Rangers officials after arrest of Uzair Baloch that five prominent persons including Zulfiqar Mirza and Sania Naz would be questioned.
