M. Phil student’s post-mortem report reveals cause of death

KARACHI: In a recent development, the post-mortem revealed the cause of death of the M. Phil student who was found dead at the University of Karachi’s (UoK) hostel at HEJ Colony on Monday, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

The preliminary post-mortem report revealed that the M. Phil student – Mukhtiar Ali – fell in the bathroom while taking a bath and suffered a head injury which led to his death, meanwhile, there was no sign of violence was found on the deceased body.

The report further said that if the victim got the treatment on time his life could have been saved.

The medical staff after completing the legal formalities handed over the body to the family, after which the family took the deceased with them to Swat for the final Islamic rituals.
