Majid Nizami laid to rest amid sobs and tears

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, members of the provincial and National Assembly, senators, judges, social and political leaders, journalists and prominent figures from different walks of life attended the funeral prayers of Majid Nizami.

On this eve, CM Shahbaz Sharif while paying a tribute to his long service towards the country, said that Majid Nizami was a national asset, he was an elder and losing such a man is a great setback for everyone.

Shahbaz said, ‘Nizami never bowed his head before dictatorship, while he frequently used to criticize us as well’.

Moreover, the Governor Punjab also expressed immense grief over Majid Nizami’s demise and said this vacuum is not going to be filled ever.
