DPO Khanewal Jahanzaib Nazeer said that the suspect named Tanveer Yousuf spread false news regarding the abduction of a bus in order to embezzle a large sum of money.
“The bus driver said that no incident of a bus kidnapping took place”, Nazeer said.
Yousuf was handed over to Police for investigation while the passengers were free to go after probe.
