According to details, Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s appointment as the chairperson of the PM’s Youth Loan Scheme was challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC), following which she decided to step down from her post.
Sources told that Maryam Nawaz personally made the decision looking at court proceedings pertaining to her appointment and there was no pressure on her to resign from the slot.
Moreover, PM Nawaz Sharif’s political secretary, Asif Kirmani has also confirmed her resignation.
