Maryam's tweet receives strong retort from Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz receives strong retort from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday as he responded to an earlier tweet, asking her to not give historical references if she does not “have any knowledge of history”.
Earlier Maryam took to twitter marking Nawaz Sharif’s 25 years year old speech. While labeling the speech historic, Maryam said,
“17th April 2018 marks 25 years of Nawaz Sharif’s historic speech, ‘Main dictation Nahi loon ga’. A speech that changed political history & attitudes”.

Maryam also changed her profile picture on twitter that bore a daring statement;

Following this, PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry responded to her tweet by saying,

“Nawaz Sharif not only took dictation three days after the speech but also resigned and dissolved the assemblies. One mustn’t give historical references if one doesn’t know anything about it.”
