Afghan Taliban representative of Muslim Ummah, says Sami

Speaking to media after Friday’s prayer in Lahore, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq said Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif want to resume the battle which even former presidents Gen.Rtd. Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari failed to win.

JUI-S leader cautioned that PML-N government will not be able to run if any action taken against the religious seminaries.

“Terminology of Good and Bad Taliban is leaders’ own invention”, said Sami-ul-Haq.

He said thousands of Afghan students, studying in religious seminaries, are being dragged back to Afghanistan, which is an open violation of Afghan Policy.

Maulana Sami-ul-Haq said government wants confrontation between religious seminaries and Pakistan Army through their measures.

He blamed United States, India and Israel for creating chaos in the country.

Maulana called Afghan Taliban as representative of Muslim Ummah. While tracing roots of Tehreek-e-Taliban is difficult to ascertain, he added.
