ISLAMABAD: Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Friday sought public help for identifying a woman who is seen beating a housemaid in a viral video, ARY News reported.
The video circulating on social media, shows a woman slapping and beating an underage maid for making excess tea. The woman can be seen violently slapping the girl and shouting at her for making ‘excess tea’.
A statement released from her office says the Human Rights Minister would need information about the location and also identity the woman who is seen beating a juvenile housemaid so that she could take action against her.
She also did a tweet to seek help from people in identifying the woman and reaching out to the child labourer.
