MUMBAI: Remember Shilpa Shirodkar who sizzled the screen in Bollywood in 90s with her scintillating performances opposite several top stars?
To make you recall more, Shilpa Shirodkar played a pivotal role in the 1992 film ‘Khuda Gawah’ in 1992 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi. Shilpa was famous for her glamourous roles in such films.
Shirodkar has worked with many lead actors of the 1990s. She shared screen with Govinda in ‘Aankhen’. Shilpa Shirodkar co-starred with Mithun Chakraborty in 9 films.
She married Holland-based businessman Apresh Ranjit in 2000 and went on a hiatus from the silver screen following that.
The actress disappeared from the big screen after the 2000 film ‘Gaja Gamini’. But she returned to showbiz after 13 years with the TV show ‘Ek Mutthi Aasman’ in 2013.
