Keeping in view the threat of imminent rainstorm, the minister has issued directives to all the administrators of KMC, District administrators and Municipal commissioners to remain alert for any untoward weather situation.

In a statement issued on Monday, the provincial minister ordered the immediate cleaning of all the sewerage and drainage lines and has directed fishermen to stay away from the sea for at least two days.

The warning was given after the Met Office predicted a rainstorm in the province similar to that of KP.

The minister directed the Managing Director Water Board and other concerned officials to take emergency measures for the repair of sewerage lines.

It must be noted that a tornado in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Sunday killed more than 45 people and rendered a number of others homeless.
