Military should be part of politics: Altaf Hussain

Altaf Hussain, addressing the party workers on Daawat-e-Haleem at 90 Headquarters, said that the tenure of former President General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf was better and progressive than the incumbent regime.

The MQM chief also said that local bodies election did not take place during democratic phases. He said that the citizens could contact the counselors during military rules.

He added that the duty of Education Minister is to promote education. He asked that what will be the fate of the country if an Education Minister creates hurdles in the education sector.

“We will enforce an uniformed education system and hold those people accountable who transformed schools into stables after coming into power”, he said.
