Ministry of Railways decides to double the salaries of Railways Police

LAHORE: Ministry of Railways has decided to set the salaries of the Railways Police personnel, equal to that of Punjab Police and a summary has also been forwarded to the Ministry of Finance in this regard – ARY News reports.

Sources within Pakistan Railways told that the Railways Ministry has decided to increase the salaries of Railways Police and a summary pertaining to this, has also been sent to the Finance Ministry for approval.

It was reported that after the approval of the summary, salaries of the Railways Police personnel will be doubled.

Sources told that the morale of the Railways Police was declining, working under difficult circumstances, with considerably low wages.
