Unknown miscreants exploded the eight-inch diameter gas pipeline in Pir Koh area of district Dera Bugti, by planting explosives. Following the blast, fire broke out from the pipeline.
Sources told that the blasting of pipeline disrupted gas supply to the Pir Koh plant.
Baluchistan – the largest province of Pakistan with respect to land area – is rife with insurgency while bombing of gas pipelines has become a common occurrence here.
The province has sparse population, which often complains of not getting their due rights as per resources of the province.
