Missing Persons case: SC directs to investigate former DPO Karak

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has directed the authorities to include former DPO Karak (KP) in the investigation, regarding the missing persons Atiq ur Rahman and Naseem – ARY News reports.

During the hearing of Missing Persons case on Wednesday, the Chief Justice ordered the police to arrest the former DPO Karak and present him before the court, if he fails to cooperate in the investigation of the case.

Meanwhile, the SC granted a time limit of 2 weeks to the Ministry of Defence, for the recovery of another man Muhammad Jameel, also been found missing.

Additional attorney general, Tariq Khokar had earlier requested the court to grant 3 weeks for the recovery of Muhammad Jameel.
