Mob burns to death two robbers for killing policeman

The official of Anti-Car Lifting Cell was on his way to home in Korangi no. 2 area on Saturday when three robbers intercepted him and tried to rob him.

The ACLC official shot and injured two of the robbers. The cop also sustained bullet wounds in an exchange of gunfire with the culprits.

He was also taken to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The passers-by caught two robbers in injured condition and beaten them up.

Later, the incensed mob doused petrol and set the robbers on fire. Police contingent reached the spot to prevent charged people from setting culprits on fire, but in vain.
