SAO PAULO: A footage emerged on social media showing a Brazilian male model, Tales Soares, mysteriously collapsed and died on the catwalk during Sao Paulo’s Fashion Week.
The 26-year-old model was seen walking down the runway during a parade for the fashion brand Ocksa in Brazil in front of hundreds of spectators before turning around as he approached the top of the catwalk, Daily Mail reported.
The video shows that the model was stumbled after turning back and suddenly fell face on the runway.
As he turned, the model appeared to stagger and soon fell face first onto the runway.

At the time of collapse, guests had initially thought the fall was part of the model’s act but the onlookers went horrified when paramedics rushed at the site.
He was immediately taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. It was also reported that the fashion model soon began to foam at the mouth after his fall.
According to the Brazilian newspaper Folha Press, Mr Soares reportedly tripped on his shoelace before he fell. It was also reported that the fashion model soon began to foam at the mouth after his fall.
The organisers said in a statement, ‘SPFW has just received the news of the death of model Tales Soares, who suddenly took ill during the Ocksa show.’
Fashion brand Ocksa said on Instagram that its entire team was ‘shocked’ by the death of Soares, who was signed to Base MGT modelling agency.
However, further details are yet to be disclosed.
