Mohammad Amir to undergo fitness test ahead of NZ tour

PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan gave the green signal to Mohammad Amir for attending the fitness camp.

The pacer’s performance in the Bangladesh Premier League is one of the reasons for his return to the camp. He bagged 15 wickets in the tournament.

The camp will be set up from 21st December till 7th January 2016 in which special attention will be given towards the fitness of the players.

Mohammad Amir, along with Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif, were banned and jailed over a 2010 spot-fixing scandal in England. The trio was accused of arranging deliberate no-balls during the Lord’s Test against England in return for money in August 2010.
