Earlier such a rumor was turned down by the singer on Sept 15. She had tweeted: “I am not engaged to anyone, guys. Relax!”

Two of the tweets which were amongst the most retweeted under her tweet were Farhan Khan Virk’s : “@MominaMustehsan thank God. I was worried like hell. Could not sleep whole night. It was more important than US presidential elections for me.”
The other one was: “@MominaMustehsan choke me like South African cricket team.”
However, the Afreen singer has eventually announced through her social media accounts that she met her fiance for the first time less than a month ago where their fate was decided with mutual consent of both families.
“Hi world. Meet my fiancé, Ali Naqvi. We met each other for the first time less than a month ago, our families really liked each other and now we’re engaged.”
She said she wanted to keep her engagement private, but things were not under her control.
“Though we wanted to keep this only between our close family and friends, and celebrate this privately and get to know each other without unnecessary hype and interference, news got everywhere. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to keep their private life to themselves, but in this case, the ball is no longer in our court,” she said.
Fiance of the charming and sweet lady is a Pakistani origin US banker Ali Naqvi. Since she has garnered a huge fan following, her social media accounts got flooded with congratulations pouring in from every corner of the world.
