Money launderers behave with indignation when questioned: PM Imran khan

ISLAMABAD: Criticizing corrupts, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that money launderers behaved with indignation when questioned.

PM Imran Khan here on Sunday took to the twitter and shared a quote of France’s renowned economist Frederic Bastiat about corruption.

He said the truth of this saying was reflected clearly in the way money launderers were treated and the way they behaved with indignation when questioned:

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”(Frederic Bastiat)

It is pertinent to mention here that Claude-Frédéric Bastiat was a French economist, writer and a prominent member of the French Liberal School. A Freemason and a member of the French National Assembly, Bastiat developed the economic concept of opportunity cost and introduced the parable of the broken window.
