Motorbike riding gunman shot dead former SP in Lahore

LAHORE: A former police officer was killed in a firing incident at Millat Park in Lahore, citing police sources, ARY News reported on Saturday.

“A motorbike riding gunman targeted former SP Farhat Abbas near his home,” police said. Police has launched investigation into the murder incident.

CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana has taken notice of the killing of former polie officer Farhat Abbas and summoned report from SP Iqbal Town.

Police chief has ordered the police to use all resources in hand for arrest of the accused. He has ordered immediate arrest of the culprit with the help of the footage of CCTV cameras and other evidences.

SP Iqbal Town and other senior officers of the police department have reached to the crime scene and collected evidence from the spot.

SP Iqbal Town has said that police teams have been constituted for arrest of the accused and promised early arrest of the culprit.
