ISLAMABAD: Videos recovered during the raid on Islamabad’s Top Housing Society shows Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM) leaders used to take shooting lessons with the society’s owner Moeez Khan, ARY News reported on Monday.

Sources say Rangers have also recovered a huge cache of NATO weapons and large amount of foreign currency worth Rs10million during the raid on housing society.

Videos recovered during the raid show fugitive MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi taking shooting training with the help of automatic weapons while a number of other MQM leaders including Rasheed Godial and Iqbal Muhammad Ali can be seen partying with Moeez Khan.

Sources also said that the owner of housing society also used to provide accommodation to party’s wanted criminals.

It is pertinent here to mention that the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on May 13 claimed to apprehend a network of suspected miscreants affiliated with MQM-L in Islamabad.

Acting on a complaint received against the suspects, the LEAs conducted a raid at the housing society and detained 10 to 12 suspects,

Moeez Khan, a key suspect, was among the arrests. However, the identity of others could not be ascertained immediately.
