KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Rabita Committee member Faisal Sabzwari on Saturday said their offer of alliance with the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) was still valid which had been categorically stated by Farooq Sattar, ARY News reported.
“We have not closed the doors for the PSP and neither would do so. There is no truth in the claim, which is very hilarious, that the MQM-P wanted amalgamation with the PSP,” he said addressing a press conference in Karachi. The presser was supposed to be addressed by Farooq Sattar, however he was not present on this occasion.
Sabzwari said they did not want to reengage in Mohajir murder and Mohajir murderer politics, therefore, after holding successful rally on November 05 they decided to make alliance with the former MQM dissenters. They (only) talked about alliance (not merger) and it was also mentioned in the notification issued by the party, he said.

Suggesting political allies to avoid passing unwelcome comments, he said all political friends should demonstrate responsibility. There was no use of lame excuses, we should demonstrate mature political acumen, he added.
Mocking the PSP chief, he said Mustafa Kamal used to call the MQM a terrorist organisation, but still he came to sit with them.
Referring to Kamal’s press conference, he said Mustafa Kamal wasted his chance by idle chatter. He also thanked him saying that because of his diatribe some angry leaders had reunited with MQM-P.
The MQM-P leader lashed out at the PSP chairman, for advising to adopt national politics rather than ethnic, and said he wanted us to bury our identity. The Rabita Committee had people from all races and ethnicities, he said.
Sabzwari claimed that MQM-P had contacts with Kamal’s 90 percent of workers. “We do not lure MPA or MNA,” he said.
