The Mutahidda Qaumi Movement has been tasked to approach Dr. Qadri in this regard. MQM’s Haider Abbas Rizvi is named as a mediator to contact the Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief, sources told.
Rizvi will urge Dr. Qadri to extend his deadline that he gave to the government to accept his demands or be ready for ‘showdown’ by the people.
