ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has strongly condemned the execution of captive Jamat-e-Islami (JI) leader, Abdul Qadir Mulla by the Bangladeshi Government – ARY News reports.
In his statement issued on Friday, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that executing Abdul Qadir Mulla after 42 years of the Fall of Dhaka in 1971 is an extremely sadistic state of affairs.
He said that some circles declare it a judicial murder. He said that Abdul Qadir Mulla was sentenced to death for his loyalty and solidarity with Pakistan.
Mulla was in favor of united Pakistan, the Interior Minister added.
Nisar said that it is a requirement for the peace and brotherhood that both the states opt for a strategy of forgiving in the larger national interests.
