Mulla’s Hanging: Liaquat says PPP, MQM demonstrated stone heartedness

LAHORE: Secretary General of Jamat e Islami (JI), Liaquat Baloch has welcomed the approval of a resolution from the National Assembly (NA) against the hanging of Abdul Qadir Mulla in Bangladesh, while he added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) demonstrated their stone heartedness – ARY News reports.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Liaquat Baloch said that opposing the resolution both the parties clarified that even today they do not have any regrets over the partition of Pakistan and the Indian aggression against it.

He urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that after the acceptance of the resolution it should take up the issue of the violation of 1974 Pact in Bangladesh at the forums like SAARC, OIC and the United Nations.

Mentioning the killing of Allama Nasir Abbas after the assassination of Molana Shams ur Rahman Muawiya, the Secretary General JI labeled the target killing of Allama Nasir Abbas as a tragic incident.

He urged the religious parties and the people of the state to foil the plans of spreading sectarianism, through their unity.

Liaquat further mentioned that there is no Shia-Sunni dispute among the people; it is all part of a great plan of the enemy.
