Multan changed politics of entire country today, says Qureshi

Talking to media after the victory of PTI-backed Aamir Dogar in the by-elections in NA-149 Multan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that today Multan changed the politics of Pakistan and the people here scored two wickets on a single ball.

He said that PTI had planned for transparent elections in the constituency and the people witnessed its outcome today.

Commenting on Javed Hashmi’s defeat, Qureshi said that the rabbit [Dogar’s electoral sign] swallowed the lion [PMLN’s symbol] in today’s by-polls, while the PPP candidate was ripped off his security deposit.

He said that the NA-149 seat is of no importance, it is rather Imran Khan’s politics which is more significant.
