TOP NEWS

ISLAMABAD: General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf, former President and Army Chief of Pakistan, said on Thursday that he has no plans to leave the country – ARY News reports.

The statement was made by the former President during his medical check-up at his farm house located in Chak Shehzad.

He stated that he himself will face the cases filed against him and will prove his
innocence to the courts.

While expressing gratitude to the Judiciary, Pervez Musharraf said that the court made decisions without any pressure and police held an independent investigation.

Musharraf stated that he will not be holding any important press conferences as such.

He was released from sub-jail (at his own house) in Chak Shehzad after his bail request was accepted in Ghazi Murder case on Wednesday.

However, Musharraf’s name is still placed in the Exit Control List by the Sindh High Court (SHC).
