According to reports, the ex-military ruler was at his home with family when he suddenly fainted.
He has now been shifted to PNS Shifa Hospital amid tight security.
It is learnt that a team of doctors has been summoned to examine the former president. Doctors said they would conduct various tests on Mr. Musharraf to determine the cause of his fainting.
He has been braving health issues for some time. In 2014, he was taken to hospital following a heart-related problem the day he was scheduled to appear in the court.
