In an interview to BBC Urdu, Irfan Siddiqui said that Pervez Musharraf will not be given a safe passage and the former President will have to face the jurisdiction.
“It is the wish of Musharraf’s close friends that he should be released. Overall, the military is not against the trial against the former Army Chief”, Siddiqui said.
He also added that the government has not considered to give a safe passage to the military dictator on any level.
