LAHORE:  Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Javed Iqbal Monday said that some elements have threatened to blow up the anti-graft authority’s Islamabad headquarters, ARY News reported.

Addressing officers at the NAB’s Lahore office, the NAB chairman said that the anti-graft authority’s recent crackdown has threatened fraudsters who have now resorted to threatening the authority’s officers and infrastructure.

“We do not fear anyone, the anti-corruption crackdown will not stop,” added Javed Iqbal.

He maintained that NAB, for the first time in 70 years of Pakistan’s existence, has held the powerful accountable but “some people have made it their habit to dodge NAB’s notices”.

Javed Iqbal added that NAB will one day put before the nation, a record of all the money looted from the national kitty.
