The reference states that the accused Imran Ghicki has been involved in illegal assets and corruption worth Rs. 185 million. A NAB spokesman said they had received several complaints against the accused after which they initiated an inquiry against him.
In 2015, NAB raided two bungalows in Islamabad and recovered huge quantity of gold, cash and foreign currency. He also owned plots in Islamabad and Gawadar and the property documents were not recovered.
The NAB widened the scope of their inquiry after which it was known that he had illegal assets beyond his means worth an estimated Rs185 million. The accused has absconded and efforts are being made to arrest him.
