KARACHI Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chief Farooq Sattar on Friday accused MQM-London leader Nadeem Nusrat of carrying out anti-Pakistan propaganda in the United States, ARY News reported.

Expressing reservations over MQM-L’s recent activities he said, the behavior of people of London is in line with the speech on August 22, 2016.

“Nadeem Nusrat is lobbying against Pakistan in the US which is quite concerning. This is a sensitive national security issue,” he warned while addressing media in Karachi.

He termed a recent audio statement released by the senior MQM-L leader and his anti-Pakistan activities in US a continuity of August 22 speech. This should be noted that a picture of Nadeem Nusrat along John McCain is circulating on social media.

Farooq Sattar said such activities were aimed at creating instability and anarchy in the country.

The people of London were misusing Muhajir’s name, he said. He said the behavior of MQM-L leaders was remorseful. They should not say any such thing in the name of Muhajirs.

Speeches similar to August 22 are being delivered every now and then, he said.

“We stand by the policy we announced on August 23,” said Farooq Sattar. He also said his party had not receded an inch from the policy of recovering their missing workers. Many Muhajir workers were still behind the bars, he added.

The MQM-P chief said they wanted the rule of common man and they were struggling to achieve their goal.

He said letters were written to US congressmen and senators demanding to stop financial aid of Pakistan Army. He said the Army was leveled baseless allegations of involvement in various incidents.

The basic aim of our today’s press conference is that we want those carrying out anti-Pakistan propaganda to stop using Muhajirs’ name, he said.

“The language being used against Pakistan’s state institutions is not acceptable to Muhajir’s living in length and breadth of the country,” he said.
