According to details, NADRA submitted its report consisting of 50 pages regarding five polling stations of the constituency NA-125, Lahore-VIII. These polling stations included station no. 5, 6, 98, 107 and 110.
The report stated that majority of votes in all the five polling stations could not be verified, while at some places up to six votes were also polled by a single person.
Votes were also casted on fake NICs, due to which the thumb impressions on the votes could not be verified.
It was further stated that the NIC numbers found in the counter files also turned out to be bogus.
Minister of Railways, Khwaja Saad Rafique was elected as an MNA from the constituency as a result of May-11 elections in 2013, on the ticket of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate, Hamid Khan had filed a petition in the relative election tribunal, challenging the success of Khwaja Saad Rafique from NA-125.
