ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has increased fee for issuance of all types of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
The revised fee structure will be implemented from April 24 onward across the country.
According to a notification of Nadra, any one obtaining normal CNIC for the first time will not be charged a single penny, whereas Rs 400 will be charged for renewal or issuance of duplicate cards.
Urgent and executive CNICs can be obtained on payment of Rs 1150 and Rs 2150, respectively. A new smart identity card will cost Rs 750, whereas urgent and executive can be obtained after payment of Rs 1500 and Rs 2500, respectively.
Normal, urgent and executive National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) will cost Rs4250, Rs6350 and Rs8450 respectively. While, normal smart NICOP will cost Rs4600, urgent Rs6700 and executive Rs8800.
