Nation, army to stay determined, steadfast in face of terrorism: army chief

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday said the nation and the army would stay determined and steadfast in the face of cowardly acts of terrorism.
Expressing grief on the martyrdom of Ikramullah Gandapur in a suicide attack, the army chief said, “We have lost another patriotic political leader.”
He said the politicians were being targeted by enemies of peace and democratic process. He said blood of our martyrs should not go waste.
Former minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate Sardar Ikramullah Khan Gandapur was killed in a bomb blast near his car in DI Khan on Sunday.
