LONDON: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has said that the federal government is working "day and night" to curb the power shortage in the country, ARY News reports on Saturday.
Nawaz Sharif, while addressing the Pakistani community in United Kingdom, said that load-shedding in the country will end soon and every house will be brighten with electricity.
He further said that only those countries progress which have democratic form of government.
"Every penny belongs to the nation. It will be spent on the welfare of the people", he added.
It should be noted that Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif had earlier said that it will take at least three months to curb the power crises of the country.
