Newly appointed DG SPD Gen Mazhar Jamil calls on PM Nawaz Sharif

The figures during the meeting held discussion on Pakistan’s nuclear assets, missile and space programs.

The prime minister praised SPD measures with regard to nuclear security and said the strategic division is playing a pivotal role in strengthening the defense of the country.

On the occasion, Lieutenant General Mazhar Jamil pledged to put in all his energies to discharge this crucial responsibility as head of the SPD.

PM Sharif expressed his hopes that under the leadership of Gen Jamil the SPD will continue to advance further.
