Nine Zero raid: Recovered arms to go under forensic test

The para-military force claimed to have recovered large number of weapons from the MQM headquarters in its raid on Wednesday. They also said that some of the arms were stolen from NATO containers.

United States (US) State Department said that no weapons were stolen from the containers.

The forensic investigation will determine the usage of the weapons.

On the other hand, Sindh Home Ministry has extended the powers delegated to the Rangers by four months. Sources said that the decision was taken under the anti-terrorism act.

According to police sources, an FBI team has arrived here in Pakistan to impart Bomb Disposal training to police officers.

Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) officials from across Sindh will take part in the training programme.
