The meeting took place here at the PM House on Tuesday, during which both the statesmen discussed the situation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and reviewed the arrangements made for facilitating them.
On this occasion, the Interior Minister also briefed PM Nawaz Sharif about the measures taken in order to deal with a possible reaction of the offensive in North Waziristan.
The Prime Minister vowed that the Government shall all possible assistance to the operation affectees and will not leave them alone in this difficult hour of time.
Moreover, PM Nawaz ordered release of another Rs 1 billion for providing relief to North Waziristan refugees.
