Nisar hospitalized after cardiac problem

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has fallen sick after which he has been shifted to hospital – ARY News reports.

According to sources, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan felt cardiac pain, following which he was immediately taken to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC), where General (R) Pervez Musharraf was also admitted for the same treatment.

Former commandant of the AFIC, Azhar Kayani is busy conducting the angiography of the Interior Minister.

The AFIC and national institute of Heart Diseases is an Inter Services Organisation with a capacity of 250 beds dedicated purely to cardiac ailments and is considered to be the leading cardiac hospital in Rawalpindi.

ARY News Islamabad Bureau Chief, Sabir Shakir has told that the Interior Minister was under severe stress after the deadly terrorist attack on Karachi airport, while doctors at the AFIC are currently busy treating him.
