TAXILA: Disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday said the his performance is well-known, and that people should vote for the jeep symbol in the upcoming general elections.
Addressing a campaign rally, the former interior minister strongly criticised PML-N candidates and said people should not waste their votes on them.
“I am saying this clearly that nothing will become of them either of them either before of after the elections.
“Those who reached this stage on political lumps, their symbol is the cat, not the lion. Don’t waste your votes on them,” he said.
He said that people should vote such that their political careers are over, and therefore urged to vote for the jeep symbol. “You have to vote against the cat and the bat,” he said referring to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf symbol.
He said that his performance is will known and he has worked tirelessly for the development of the area, and has always indulged in politics of self-respect with his head raised high. He also vowed to solve the issues faced by the labourers of the Heavy Industries Taxila after the elections.
