No option for Pakistan, India, Afghanistan except to be friends: Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan, India and Afghanistan have no other option except to become good friends.

In an interview to Turkish television, Nawaz Sharif said that the neighbors could not be changed, "we have to live with each other."

Sharif, talking on the relations with Afghanistan and other neighboring countries of Pakistan, said that he was agreed with Hamid Karzai over the issue that we will not allow use of our territory against each other. 

Pakistani prime minister said that the neighbors could not be changed, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India have only one option that is to become good friends.

He said better relations between Pakistan, Afghanistan and India are essential for the peace and prosperity of the region. 

Sharif stated that bringing normalcy in Pak-Afghan ties and considering terrorists 'mutual enemies' is essential for  elimination of extremism.
