Faizan was arrested from Korangi area of Karachi, while the other five were still at large, said police.
At least six persons, reportedly the Farhan’s friends, including Faizan, entered the house of their target in Alfalah society on the evening of July 27 and killed him following a night-long brutal torture.
Farhan used to work in the stock market and it was when his friends suffered a huge loss because of an investment, they became his biggest enemy.
On the plea of his mother, police finally started investigating the case and after a delay of nine days arrested one of Farhan’s killers.
Alleged friends of Farhan brutally tortured him in front of his family members and mother, who remained helpless to save him on the night when he was killed.
“They put several blade wounds on his body, attacked him with a knife and even if it was not enough, they applied salt on his wounds,” claimed the family members.
His mother while giving more details of the horrific night to ARY News said, “They gave no ear to my repeated requests to leave him.”
Farhan succumbed to his severe wounds and died following which his friends also stole valuables and important documents from his house.
