KARACHI: Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Sunday said only the government was changed but the country had yet to see the change which was promised, ARY News reported.

“They had made program for making the government and there was no plan for running the country,” he said while talking to a conference here at Karachi Medical and Dental College.

He said political and economic justice should be done in the country. Injustice should not be done with offspring of those who created Pakistan, he added.

The MQM-P leader said he always raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad and he revered all the state institutions.

He warned that those who wanted to derail the government were working like US President Donald Trump.

Farooq Sattar said neither he wanted to be like the founder of the MQM-P nor like former president Mamnoon Hussain.

Earlier on October 17, Farooq Sattar advised, “It is a request to the government that before claiming big, do your homework first, otherwise it will all fall flat on your face.”

Lashing out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, he said two major political parties of the country had already failed the masses “now the third one is also pushing them in a swamp of despondency.”

One should carefully calculate, before making any big claims, he added.
