Pak-Army sends 3 trucks of relief goods from Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Army has dispatched three trucks of the relief goods collected from different relief camps established in Karachi, to the IDP camps in Bannu – ARY News reports.

According to details, the first consignment of the relief goods collected by Pakistan Army in Karachi, was dispatched to Bannu on Thursday. These goods will be distributed among the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan.

The goods included edibles and other day to day items.

Talking to media Major Mehdi said that Waziristan refugees are suffering from extremely hot weather and difficulties that too during the holy month of Ramadan and Pakistan Army is striving to provide all the facilities to these Pakistani brothers and sisters.

Apart from this, 9 tons of relief goods has already been dispatched from Karachi via C-130 aircraft, while arrangements are being made for sending 5 more trucks of relief goods to the IDP camps.
