ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday asserted that Pakistan attached high importance to its bilateral ties with Ukraine and Russia, ARY News reported.
The foreign minister made these remarks while talking to ambassador-designate to Ukraine, who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday.
FM Bilawal Bhutto reiterated that Pakistan supports peaceful and diplomatic resolution of the Ukraine issue.
Meanwhile, Ambassador-designate to Kazakhstan also separately called on the foreign minister in Islamabad.
Speaking, the Foreign Minister said Pakistan values its bilateral ties with the Central Asian Countries. He expressed the hope that the ambassador-designate would further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met Pakistan’s Ambassador designate to Tajikistan Mohammad Saeed Sarwar. The Foreign Minister expressed good wishes to Saeed Sarwar on his assuming new responsibilities.

During the meeting the Foreign Minister emphasized on expanding trade and economic relations with Tajikistan. He said Pakistan has deep historical and cultural ties with Tajikistan. He said there are immense opportunities for cooperation between Pakistan and Tajikistan in various fields.
