Pakistan condemns fresh wave of killing by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Sunday condemned the fresh wave of killing of innocent Kashmiris in the Occupied Kashmir by Indian troops.

Condemning the killings in Shopian, the minister asked for resolution of the issue in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.

He said Pakistan believed in peaceful neighbourhood but everyone knows that India rejected the offer of talks. He said India should come to negotiating table for peacefully resolving all bilateral disputes.

Indian troops in a fresh act of barbarism in the occupied Kashmir, on Sunday, martyred six more youth in Shopian district of the held territory, the Kashmir Media Service reported.

As per details, the youth were killed by Indian occupational forces during the so-called cordon and search operation of Shopian district.

The Kashmiri Media Service further reported that an unannounced curfew has been imposed in the area, while internet and mobile services have also been suspended by Indian authorities.

Two days earlier, Indian occupation forces had martyred six more Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district of the held valley during a cordon and search operation in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district.
